"Oh Danny boy, the pipes the pipes are ca-alling..." Who doesn't love a good traditional Irish song? What's even better is they tend to sound fantastic on the violin! In this tutorial, I walk you through, step-by-step, how to play Danny Boy on your instrument. As I mention in the video, this song begins on the 'G' string and much of it is played there. So, if playing in the lower register of the violin freaks you out, feel free to visit one of my many other tutorials focused on 'D', 'A' and 'E' first, and then you can come back to this one! Enjoy. ❤︎
