Workshop

What Is It?

The Tune Project virtual jam workshops are designed to help foster learning and community by allowing people to gather virtually and make music together.

During this workshop, you will learn the basic skills needed to participate with your instrument in a group setting.

This includes:

- Learning a melody by ear

- Learning to "back up" using chords

- Specific stylistic techniques

You will come away from this workshop with a better sense of what it takes to participate in a jam, knowledge about the role of your instrument, and confidence to play with others in-person in the future.

All ages, abilities, and string instruments welcome.

"I loved the fact that I actually learned a couple of things. I've been practicing for about a year, but I am still new to playing. So things like droning to play along or chopping, are things I've never been exposed to. But now I have been. Thanks."
